U2 are a rock band that have been very successful. They are a rock band from Dublin in Ireland and formed in 1976. The band consists of Bono (vocals and guitar), The Edge (guitar, keyboard and vocals), Adam Clayton (bass guitar) and Larry Mullen Jr. (drums and percussion.
The band have sold around 175 million albums worldwide , with six #1 albums in the U.S. and nine #1 albums in the UK. They have won 22 Grammy Awards, the most of any rock artist.
They have done many albums which include Boy (1980), War (1983) and How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb (2004).
I like this album U2 have recently put together. It is their most successful singles into one, including a most recent song, The Saints Are Coming, which they sang with Green Day.
My favourite is Pride(In The Name Of Love). I like how the guitar is played and the vocals as well. It was #3 in the UK, when it was released in September 1984.
