Traveller Girls

We have been running this group since 2001, and is for Gypsy Traveller girls from the age of (11 upwards). We meet every Monday here at Ibstock youth club (mainly term time). It starts at 1:00pm and finshes at 2:30pm.

Every term we get to start a new topic. So far we have learnt about the body, a growing project, and we get to go on trips. We've even had on occasion, some parties.

But it's not all about us, we've even done cooking to raise money for Macmillan's.

We get picked up and get dropped off at the shops. Afterwards we go back to the Youth Club. We have lunch and then do our projects. If we weren't here we would end up....cleaning or "going off" or something.
