What is Time Out Young Carers Project?

Time out is a young carer’s project aimed at young people aged 11 – 25 years old. The project is fun and interactive as well as somewhere for young people to come and relax and to take time out from their caring roles. It is also a place for young people to come and meet others in similar situations as themselves.

When is Time Out Young Carers Project on and how do I join?

The group takes place every Tuesday evening from 7pm – 9pm, including through the summer holidays.
Young people are referred to the project by other organisations such as Barnardos, social services and other youth workers.
Young people fill out a membership form (which is free) as well as free admission to the youth club.

What do other people think?

“I enjoy coming to the group because I get to see my friends and spend some time away from caring for other people”
