The Sims PC-CDROM
The Sims is a computer animated game created by a company called `Maxis`. The Sims is a different life form created by computers, and all of the little "Sims" people are just like humans but only made out of pixels.
In the Sims you can do anything from building a house to getting the people to talk to someone else. The Sims like to be doing something all the time. If they get stressed, then you need to give them something fun to do like going swimming in the pool. You can tell if the "Sims" are stressed, because they refuse to find a job or go to work. They also don't get any money so they will quickly run out and they will not have anything to eat until they get a job. So the best solution for this is to make them as happy as you can so they can thrive.
The game is very easy and simple to control. This is because the only thing you use is the computer mouse and you just click on the character and then click on a patch of ground to move. If you want the "Sim" to do something like dance, then you click on the radio and click on the option `dance`. If you want to talk to someone then you click on the person you want to talk to, and click on talk. You do the same for anything that you want the Sims person to do. The only thing that you change is the object you click on.

The graphics when you play the game or when you are in building mode are very good. The graphics stay consistent even when you zoom in or out, which is great because sometimes when you zoom in or out then the graphics can change slightly. Having said that, the graphics could be improved slightly, but I guess they'll improve as newer versions fo the game come out.
The quality of the music is excellent, but like most things, that can depend on the type of computer that you have. However the overall performance of the music is good. There is a slgiht niggle though, in that you can't understand what the characters are saying because they speak gobblidegook (luckily though, you can tell whether they are happy or sad by the tone of their voices).
There is very little "action" (if that's what you're looking for go and play "Counter Strike Source") game play in the actual game. However you can get easily addicted to playing the Sims, because it is fun to create a perfect living environment, and then put it to the test with the Sims people. You can have more fun when you build and buy more objects to add to your world.
Overall, I think that the Sims is a great game, and I strongly recommend it to anyone who loves playing RTS/Simulation Management computer games. The Sims can be enjoyed by any age, and part of the fun is trying to work out what the Sims people are saying.
