Monday 7th July 2008 saw a fantabulous production of Rudyard Kiplin's 'The Elephant's Child', told by the Spirit of Adventure members.

The story tells of how the elephant got his long trunk through a journey which took him around the jungle, discovering new things about the various animals he encounters along the way.
The event was in aid of raising funds for Hart House, a Gambian foundation for people with special needs.
The evening production was for 30 minutes followed by refreshments and a raffle, all in which were thoroughly enjoyed by all.
At the end of the event the final total was counted and announced to the audience, and with much joy the event came to...
£150.00
This is enough money to pay for one person at Hart House for a whole year!!!
Thank you very much to everyone who made this event happen, thank you to Spirit of Adventure for such a fantastic evening and thank you to all who kindly donated in aid of a good cause.
Here are a few more pictures of the event
