The Apple Centre set up in September 2007 is a creative learning centre in Leicester offering unique creative educational activities, courses & opportunity's to young people. The centre will host various after school, during school & summer scheme activities such as courses/work groups covering areas such as I.T skills, Music Composition/Production, Sound Engineering, Web design, Vocal/Singing tuition & Dj'ing/Turntable skills etc.

Services will be offered to young residents of Leicester aged from 13 to 25 years, The project aims to target young people within that age range that are disadvantaged because of race, being unemployed, Illiterate, from low income families & who are socially excluded. Many local young people are disadvantaged, many end up getting involved with alcohol, drugs, anti social behaviour & crime. We are encouraging local youth from deprived areas of Leicester such as Beaumont Leys, Belgrave, Highfields, New Parks, Northfields, Saffron lane, St Matthews & Thurnby Lodge to take part & utilize this project & the services that are offered.
