Buddon Brook and Swithland Reservoir

Today we went for a little walk around the Swithland Reservoir. The route starts and ends in Quorn and is roughly 9 km (5.5 miles). It takes you along the Buddon Brook to meet the Great Central Railway briefly before taking you for a walk around the Swithland Reservoir. The route is quite gentle with a few muddy spots along the Brook, so wear something good on your feet! Quorn itself has a few pubs to choose from if you fancy a meal after your walk. We followed the directions from the Quorn Parish Council website and other than missing the turning opposite Elms Drive we had no trouble. Here are a few photos from the walk...
