Tony Holley is one of the greatest post players the BBL has ever seen. He came to England via Jameson St Vincents in Dublin in 1991 and barring a season in Switzerland and one in Israel, he’s been here ever since. Tony has won every title there is to win in the BBL, including the league Championship with Thames Valley in 1994. That season he also collected one of his three Trophy titles with a MVP performance in the final. During the 2005/06 season, Tony will almost certainly become the greatest rebounder in the history of the British game. He starts the campaign second all-time in total and offensive rebounds and third in defensive but should finish it top of them all. He’s also the eighth highest scorer in the league’s history with over 6300 points. Dubbed ‘The Glove’ for his defensive prowess, he joined the Riders in the summer of 2005.
