The next meeting of Oadby and Wigston Borough Councils Youth Forum will be held on Monday 19th January at 7pm in the council chamber.
Student music competition to be held at Beauchamp College on Friday 26th September 2008 from 6pm to 9pm. Proceeds to be donated to the British Red Cross. For more information contact swans@swansweb.co.uk
The event is open to anyone to attend - no charge for admission.
Must be aged 14 to 20 years of age. Must live in the borough of Oadby and Wigston
Have done something for the public good or have some element of their character which is an example to others

Two members of Hinckley & Bosworth Youth Council have created a short video out of Lego that explains the Pyramid of Participation proccess that occurs in Leicestershire and where Scount Groups, School Councils, Borough Youth Council and County Youth Councils fit into the structure.
We've been working hard to get a new youth councils site up and running, and here it is!
On Saturday 1st March 2008, 66 young people from across Leicestershire gathered at County Hall, Glenfield to identify CYCLe's priorities for the coming year and to grill the county's decision makers.
The DVD has now been finished off and ready for it's first public viewing on the 2nd of November. CYCLe and HBYC have had previews.
Plans are being made for a Battle of the Bands event to be held in Oadby on 25th September (provisional). The event will differ from other Supersonic events in that the emphasis will be on raising funds for Ox-jam.
