History of Melton Young Mayors
Melton saw its first Young Mayor in 2007.
2007/08: Nicki & Haydn
Nicki was the first ever Young Mayor of Melton Mowbray. She was eleceted in 2007 and was chair of the youth council at the same time as being young mayor.
2008/09: Thomas & Adam
Thomas was only the second young mayor for the Melton Borough, his term was one of the busiest, conducting a series of events, such as officially opening the COVE Communtity Centre in Melton, as representing the Borough on Rememberance Sunday
2009/10: Vaz & Adam
Vas is our current young mayor but the post of young mayor is to be reelected in october.
