My Chemical Romance - Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge
My Chemical Romance is an absolutely great band, there are five members in the band altogether. I think their CD cover is absolutely great; they’ve made it unique but eye catching. The Band's cover gives you a rock/gothic feel about them. The blood splattered on the peoples faces gives people the feeling that it’s going to be gloomy and emotional music, that perhaps they are telling a story about an experience that has happened to a member in the band.

This picture is of My Chemical Romance, the man in the middle, who is the lead singer, has a lovely voice. I love the way they are all wearing the same colours, this makes them look smart but make them look tough, for example to be in a gang/band. I love their hairstyles. Some of the Music they produce is awesome, one of my favourite songs by them is I’m not Okay (I promise). I listen to this song when I’m upset because it shows feelings and emotion into their music which is what I like in a band.

That there is taken from the insert of 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge'
'Revenge' is the follow up to My Chemical Romance's debut album 'I brought you my bullets, you brought me your love'.
So what makes this album stand out from the rest?
Perhaps it's the fact that the whole album is founded on the band's love of all things fantasy, and tells a tale worth of any horror tale. Maybe it's the way the band dress in a uniform style. It could be the fans not caring about any of this, just wanting more of the music they crave. Who knows? Each to their own.
This album certainly differs from the last. THe band now work seamlessly together, and this time around, are working on a sound that feels right to them.
From the punky riffs of "I'm not okay (I promise)" to the almost signiture sounds of "Thank you for the venom", these aren't sounds to be taken lightly, lest they come back and stick a boot into your face.
Emo? Punk? Pop-Rock? Call it what you will, the fans don't care as long as the music keeps coming. And just like Marmite, this is one band you either love, or hate.
