Mousemat Design Competition

Congratulations to Heather!!

These were the designs that were debated over by the judges and each one had somebody championing it. In the end though there could only be one winner. I would like to thank all of you for your excellent efforts.

Heather 2 This design was a favourite with older members of the judging panel.	Matthew 1 Matthew's use of the Jitty's colour scheme was excellent.	Vix 1 Vix went for a design which I had thought of myself. Nice idea Vix!
Matthew 2 This was also one of the favourites, and had similar ideas to Heather's second entry.	Michael 1 Michael's conceptual idea was well received.	DJ Vain 1 Typical high standard that you'd expect from DJ_Vain
Event 1 Clean and simple design	Heather 1 Hotly debated over by judges, and the eventual winner	Jade 1 Jay likens the Jitty to the Matrix, very nicely done.
Michael 2 Michael continues along his theme. Very well thought out.	Matthew 3 Matthew's third entry was equally as good as his first two.	Martin 1 Martin favoured having large screenshots...nice idea
Josh 1 Josh shows off some of his excellent Photoshop skills	Josh 2 Certainly catches your eye, and a favourite of two of the judges	Josh 3 Another clean and simple design that suited a mousemat very nicely.
Ben 1 Great Cartoon design which many judges liked the look of.	Kuang 1 Very stylish entry from Kuang

OK, here is the prize for the latest competition.

It's an Apple iPod shuffle (1GB, yup, you heard right!)

So what do you have to do to win this fantastic little MP3 player? Well, all you have to do is design a mousemat that you think other Young People who use "The Jitty" would like.

Make sure you read the rules carefully.

The rules are:

- The design must have the Jitty logo (and web address of www.thejitty.com) on it.
- Entrants must be between the ages of 12-19 to be eligible to win the prize.
- Entrants must live in Leicester or Leicestershire.
- Winner will be decided upon by a Jury and their decision is final.
- If your graphical/art skills aren't up to much don't worry, a rough sketch with design notes is allowed.
- Entrants must be registered on the Jitty Chat Forum (which is free).
- Entrants can enter up to three designs each.
- Entries can be e-mailed to James Hunter (jhunter@leics.gov.uk), or can be sent by normal post to:
