ANTI HOMOPHOBIC BULLYING PROJECT

We work with local schools and youth organisations to support young people who are being bullied. We also offer advice to schools, groups and clubs on tackling homophobia and can provide specialised training for teachers, youth workers and group leaders.

Homophobic bullying is a problem that is potentially damaging to many young people, whether or not they identify as being lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgendered (LGBT). Homophobic bullying can (and does) happen anywhere but young people are particularly vulnerable whilst at school.

IF YOU ARE SUFFERING FROM BULLYING OR HOMOPHOBIC ABUSE, EITHER AT SCHOOL, HOME OR OUT ON THE STREETS DON'T SUFFER IN SILENCE. CONTACT US IN CONFIDENCE:
Call Chaz on 0116 2547412 or email chaz@llgbc.com. Alternatively call the Leicester LGB Helpline on 0116 2550667 (Thursdays 7.30 - 10.00pm).
