Homelessness
I can talk about this from first hand experience. Arriving in Leicester with nothing, and having to go through the endless queueing, form filling, question answering process. It seems you drop out of society, and every day is spent worrying about where to sleep the next night and getting food. Money helps, but when all you want is a home, the 50 pence piece that lands at your feet is like a pebble being thrown into the ocean. It's not that the offer isn't greatly appreciated, it is, it'll help in the short term. But long term?
I was lucky. One of the housing associations said they had a place free. As it turns out it's actually a nice place.
Purely a victim of circumstance and certainly didn't see it coming, it happened. The irony is that if you face this problem, you won't have internet access, in fact internet access will be the least of your worries. But maybe the links on these pages may help you to help somebody else.
