Heather Music Festival

Heather1

Heather Music Festival (1st-3rd August) was a fantastic success with music fans being treated to three days of excellent live music at two sites in the village. NWL Radio were proud sponsors of the Crown Inn stage which delighted the crowds with unsigned rock bands mainly from the local area, but some travelling as far as Northampton to perform. The Queens Head was host to an acoustic and folk stage with performances from bands like Sans Amie, a four piece vocal harmony band from Coalville with all members under the age of 19.

Another young band The Waits performed original songs written by lead singer and guitarist 19 year old Dave Hammersley on Sunday evening, and The High Life Scenery who have only been together for six months proved to the audience why they have achieved such early success with their amazing set straight afterwards.
