We, members at Measham Youth Club, have been involved in painting banners advertising the Youth Centre for the Heart of the Forest Festival.

Measham Youth Club is housed in the old Empire Cinema situated in the Main Street at Measham. It is below the road and can be easily ignored by passers by. We wanted to show how active it is for young people

This banner reminds old residents of Measham of the Empire Cinema

The Youth Club is now under a compulsory purchase order to help the new Ashby Canal development.
We are doing a questionnaire with all the young people of Measham to see what they want from a 'new' youth club' and where they would like it to be. We have printed off over 700 questionnaires and have already had back close on 500.
We need the Youth Club IT IS IMPORTANT

We thank the Parish Council for the Heart of the Forest Festival - it was WICKED!!!!!- and for paying for the artist to help us with the banners.
