Golf is a easy and simple game to get into, suitable for all ages, men or women. There are 35 courses based around Leicestershire and they are very easy to access.

Originating in Scotland, Golf has been played for over 500 years. Keeping with traditions the world famous Golf Course St Andrews is in Scotland.

The Ryder cup has now finished, and Europe won. The score was:
Europe-18.5
America-9.5

The next major competition is the MASTERS. It is being played from the 2nd April 2007 until the 8th April. The Masters offers us the beginning of a new golf season, and the world’s greatest golfers at the world’s most prestigious event. No other golf tournament in the world can match its pageantry.

Tiger Woods has been playing for around 28 years. By the time he was 24, he had won 6 PGA tours, the U.S. open, the British open, and was part of a winning Ryder cup U.S team, making him a house hold name. Also partnerships with E.A games and Nike has increased his coverage even more.
