ROYAL VISIT - Duke of Edinburgh Award - Ivanhoe

The Ivanhoe Duke of Edinburgh Award group started in October 2006 with 12 young people. In September 2007 they were privileged to host a visit from Prince Edward, The Earl of Wessex, together with other members of a Civic Party including Lady Gretton the Lord Lieutenant of Leicestershire, Mr David Taylor MP for North West Leicestershire, the Chairs and Consorts of Leicestershire County Council and North West Leicestershire District Council,and Mr Peter Osborne the lead member for Children and Young People's Services.
