Tammy - Youth Development Worker

Tammy is the Youth Development worker, this jobs means that Tammy has to have an overview of everything that is happening. In many cases Tammy supports other Youth Workers, but Tammy still works with lots of young people. Some of the Projects that Tammy works on are around sexual health.Young & Responsible is drop in where Tammy and the school nurse team provide confidential advice, support, condom distribution and pregnancy testing. Following on from that with the help of the school nurse team Tammy runs sessions in school on sexual health.
Tammy also organises one off events for healthy schools week, World Aids Day, Youth activity days, Holiday Youth Activities, Residentials and trips.
The Youth Council and Positive Futures Group are also Tammy's responsibility and Tammy has to cover and sessions that the staff team are unable to attend.

Some of our workers are photo shy and would prefer not to be on the website. You can see them in person when you come to the sessions.

So for Jane & Claire you can see them in person at Countesthorpe Babysitting, Glen Parva Juniors, Youth Training, Victory and Young Carers
