Cosby Detached - Wanted Youth Workers

Have you seen them?

Jane has left us, but we hope she has gone onto bigger and better things. Sarah has now settled in, Sarah and Tom are two of the latest victims to fall prey to the Countesthorpe Locality Youth Team. The two of them are going to be out every Wednesday night pounding the streets of Cosby. You will find them hanging around the Recreation ground around 7.00pm and 8.15pm. They are there to provide positive activities, be there to offer advice and support and generally meet the needs of Young People in Cosby.

We also hope to extend detached to Blaby - remember you heard it here first!!

Youth Councillors Wanted.....

The Workers at Cosby have been approached by Young People to have more of a say on what happens in Cosby. Therefore the team are working at starting a Youth Council in the Village. The workers have met some of the Parish Councillors of put the idea forward and we are waiting to hear more very soon.

Also the 637 Bus has been out and about, Parish Coucillors also came aboard to consult with young people on a Youth Shelter.

What we really need is interested people, so do you have an interest in Cosby? Do you wanta Youth Shelter and if so where do you want it?
