
Wildlife Watch Groups in Leicestershire
Wildlife Watch is the junior wing of the Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust. It is an action club for children and young people aged 5 – 14. Wildlife Watch encourages members to take an interest in wildlife and the world around them through fun activities on environmental and natural history topics.
Braunstone Wildlife Watch Group

For young people interested in wildlife and the environment – 5 to 14 years old.
Activities involve discovering your local wildlife through exploring nature areas, games, art and craft and practical activities to help conserve wildlife.
The group meets at Braunstone Civic Centre, Braunstone Town and visits sites around the area. The group usually meets on the first Sunday of the month between 10 am – 12.30 pm.
Booking is essential. To book a place, call the Civic Centre on: 0116 289 9270. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Brocks Hill Green Wedge Wildlife Watch Group

For young people interested in wildlife and the environment – 5 to 14 years old.
Activities involve discovering your local wildlife through exploring nature areas, games, art and craft and practical activities to help conserve wildlife.
The group meets at Brocks Hill Country Park in Oadby and visits sites across Leicester city. Meeting times and locations vary, but the group generally meets on the second Saturday of the month between 10.30 am – 12.30 pm.
