What do we do?

Rainbows Children's Hospice Youth Project aims to provide a range of opportunities to develop the confidence and self esteem of young people with life limited conditions and their siblings.

We aim to structure activities which will build on their confidence and their belief in what they can achieve.

The project also gives young people the opportunity to socialise with their peers and develop supportive relationships.

The Youth Work at Rainbows is varied, from in-house sessional activities to activity days and sporting events designed for young people to come along and socialise and gain new skills and experiences.

So far young people have taken part in activities such as DJ and graffiti workshops as well as sensory days.

Sensory Beach Day

A fun day for young people and their families.

The day involved, arts and crafts, summer smellie bingo and some special guests……

An enjoyable afternoon had by, staff, young people and carers.

Laser target session.
Three very happy young people, who managed to hit all their targets. Looking forward to doing it again soon.

The evening was really enjoyable, was a little unsure at the start, as it was rather noisy…

But the evening certainly provided lots of entertainment.
