Market Harborough Young Peoples Centre

MONDAY 4.00 TILL 5.30PM - GYPSY CREW

This session is for local travellers from Justin park and Greenacers. A group for young people to join in activities of their choice and to meet others.

MONDAY 6.00 TILL 8.00PM - Junior Group

This session is open to any one aged 11-14 come down have a chat,play pool, work on topical issues, arrange a trip, party or gig its down to you, come down and have your say. you could even get a youth work award for your record of achievement, it's up to you.

Monday 12.00-1.30- Young Parents

This session is for young parents and their pre school children and its FREE, takes place in the children's centre building and is run jointly with the staff from the centre.

pop down and tell us what you want. get involved and have your say, meet other young parents, get the help and advice you may need.

Tuesday Girls Group 3.30-5.30

this group is for young women aged 11+

we do a variety of activities from cooking, streedance, african drumming, archery, arts and crafts and discussions, come down and give it a go, join in and try it out.

Tuesday Adventure Service Challenge Group

This project is run with Welland park students for a more hands on learning experience as part of the school day

Wednesday 7.00-9.00pm Young Carers Group

A chance to get together with other young carers to enjoy a break from caring responsibilities and join in activities, gain an award, get your voice heard, or just have some fun.

Thursday 7.00PM Till 9.00PM - Senior Youth Club

A youth club open to its members for playing pool and table tennis, having a chat, joining in an activity, gaining an award, getting some advice and information, also open is our JUST 4 U service which is the relationship and sex health education one 2 one work. This includes condom provision, pregnancy testing and chlamydia screening.

For young people aged 14-18

Just 4 U

just 4u is our free confidential, relationship and sexual health service

we can offer you information, and someone to talk to we have information on other local sexual health services for young people as well as free condoms, pregnancy testing and chlamydia testing .

Foundation Learning Programme

Foundation Learning is a unique programme designed for 16-19 year olds who are not in education, training or employment, it is an opportunity for you to meet new people, gain confidence, gain qualifications and receive help to find a job or get into college. We are nothing like school and you are given the chance to choose the skills you would like to develop and how you would like to do this.
