Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Buffy is a young normal teenager…… NOT
She is the chosen vampire slayer (there is only one at a at time) who has to defeat blood sucking villains.
Buffy moved to Sunnydale (California) , after her parents split up. She has two friends Willow and Xander, who in fact are there to help her with the new slayer life.
I am not going into detail because that would spoil the whole surprise, but if you're not careful you will get hooked on it and will never be seen in day light again.
Watch Buffy the vampire slayer its a real mixed feeling show.

Buffy...wow. I remember just watching one episode of this and being hooked that's how good it is.
The casting was a fantastic choice, especially Nicholas Brendon as the ever wise-cracking goof, Xander, and James Marsters as Spike.
Xander: Right, you can't just go 'librum incendere' and expect...
[the page he is reading from bursts into flame. Xander looks at it in shock, then slams it shut to put out the flames]
Giles: Xander, don't speak Latin in front of the books
The show balances humour and fantasy as it shows how Buffy and her friends band together in the face of danger to overcome it, and quite often, laugh it out of town.
The story behind the slayer is that there is only ever one, at any time. A new slayer will come into power the second the current slayer dies. They are appointed a guardian and mentor from the Watchers Council of England, who controls the training and general welfare of their charge.
The Slayer has always worked alone, the danger and necessarity of keeping their calling quiet leaving no room for any co-operation. But Buffy blows this to pieces.
Her friends discover exactly who she is, and from that moment, never let her do anything alone.
