Blue Moon
15 year old Mia has enjoyed a long, hot summer with her boyfriend Will, but her world is about to crumble when she discovers that she is pregnant. How will her Dad react? How will Will react?
And most importantly, what should Mia do? She’s too young to be a mother, but it somehow doesn’t feel right to kill off the little bean growing inside her. Her Dad has other ideas though and before she knows it she’s in hospital just minutes away from having an abortion.
Mia does the only thing that feels right. She runs. With nowhere to go, Mia is alone in the world. Will doesn’t want to know and her Dad will be furious. But she can’t go back now. Who can she turn to?
Help turns up in the most unexpected way, and what follows is a journey through doubt and worry, until finally Mia knows what she needs to do.
An excellent read that I found impossible to put down, “Blue Moon” had me gripped until the very end. Mia’s character is easy to relate to and once I had finished, I didn’t want it to end! How convenient then, that there is a sequel…
