Bike Week

School children rode their bikes to the Woolly Mammoth statue in Watermead Country Park during ‘Bike Week’, to show their support for the Park’s Connect 2 bid.

Connect2 is one of the projects competing for a single grant of £50 million from the National Lottery’s ‘Living Landmarks: The People’s Millions’ competition, where the public will decide who gets the money during an ITV1 show in December.

HTWM staff can help the scheme by registering their support on www.leics.gov.uk/connect2, and by looking out for the TV vote in December, and voting for Connect2!
