Baby Blue
By Julia Green
In this sequel to the fabulous “Blue Moon”, Mia struggles to cope with the pressures of being a teenage mum. As she devotes every minute of the day to looking after baby Kai, her friends are moving on without her.
The adults in her life don’t think that she can manage, and her friends can’t see quite how hard it is. Probably the only one who understands Colleen, another young mother. As for Will… he doesn’t seem to know what he wants.
As her friends continue their care-free teenage existence, and Mia realises that it really is over between her and Will, there is one silver lining in life: her beautiful, tiny, Baby Blue.
An excellent read, which was touching, emotional, humorous and truly gripping, this was certainly as good as its predecessor. Yet again, Julia Green’s writing has impressed me.
