The Road Of The Dead

Two determined brothers travel from London to an eerie village in "The Moors" on a mission to find their sister's rapist and murderer after the family becomes impatient with the police investigation. As the unwelcome boys begin to unravel the secrets of the eerie village, they experience savage attempts to put a stop to their searching, which is nudging them closer to the truth. The boys compromise their own lives to complete their mission and bring peace to their family.

As I turn every page, I am gripped, it is one of those rare books that I want to read very fast, but I want never to end. Kevin Brooks uses intellect in the book to create powerful images and extraodinary atmosphere, also pure imagination that will have any reader, young or old, reaching for the cousions in comfort.

A very gripping read, however, there were a few holes in the plot where, say, you could drive a stake through (hint hint) but nonetheless, a very provocative read.
