'Don't waste your time' was a brilliant choice of an introduction song as it gives the album a positive sound straight away, the bouncy intro leads into soft vocals from Robert which grabbed my attention instantly. Kicking into the chorus with a fantastic beat by Dylan creates a superb mix of a bouncy beat from the chorus with relaxed and nicely-paced vocals during the rest of the song. I especially enjoyed the slower paced beat near the end that lead the song into a lovely finish. 8/10
All I need starts off with a truly awesome combination of piano and guitar which then introduced a drum beat that finally lead into the main vocals, after that it was a pretty average song that didn't grab my attention too much but was still enjoyable and easy to listen to. Overall it's possibly not one of my favourite songs of the album, but the introduction is definitely wicked and deserves a listen! 6/10
Never let you go is a classic love song and once again the vocals are simply fantastic. The main part that I adore is that so many people can relate and the chorus creates a hopeful and truly passionate story about young love. There is a lovely relaxed pace that slowly builds up to the chorus that really does create a memorable sound that you love listening to. During the last minute of the song, Robert shows off his voice and you can sense the passion and effort put into this song, which without a doubt does make it one of my more favourite and more listened to songs of the album! 9/10
Kicking off 'Chasing love' is a combination of a drum beat and guitar, quite a laid back song that is easy to listen to during the start of the song, the chorus once again doesn't disappoint in its upbeat and positive sound that creates a lovely mood for the listener. The lyrics are easy to relate to for teenagers in love and I imagine would be a favourite for those in need of some easily listenable, upbeat love songs. 8/10
Definitely my favourite song of the album, Good times and goodbyes has a beautiful combination of vocals that work perfectly. It's an extremely heartfelt song that pulled on my heartstrings and creates a perfect image of two lovers singing passionately to each other which listeners will surely enjoy. The bass and drum rhythm work perfectly with the song, especially the introduction which leads on nicely to the mix of vocals, a truly brilliant song. 10/10
Delanie definitely grabbed my attention with being acoustic. It's a really beautiful sound that stirs up a lot of emotions; I instantly fell in love with how soft this song was due to the once again gorgeous vocals mixed with the ongoing tambourine. Passionate and memorable, this really deserves a lot of listening to! 8/10
Always yours has a lovely catchy introduction with the finger clicking and laid back soft vocals that eventually lead into even better gorgeous and passionate singing that are extremely heartfelt. Extremely easy to relate to this song with lyrics about love, being in a relationship and dedication. I truly loved the sudden moments of focus on the vocals where the drums and guitars suddenly stopped; this had an awesome effect of emotion that I really loved. 8/10
Last but not least 'Our time' kept expectations high and didn't disappoint, the guitar intro nicely lead into the vocals that are easy to listen to and have lyrics about skipping class and young experiences that listeners can easily relate and listen to. This song doesn't stand out as much as the others, but is still a nice, relaxed and average-paced song to end the album on. 6/10
Overall I really enjoyed this album, I can't express enough how brilliant the vocals were and loved every moment where Robert shows off with such passion in his voice. The catchy drum beats, simple but effective guitar and bass just made the songs more memorable and easy to listen to which gives every song a better impression on the listener. The majority of this album has songs dedicated to young love and romance; it doesn't surprise me that there are so many teenage fans showing support for this band as they really have made an awesome impression. The only difference I'd like to see is a little change in the theme of lyrics and to have a bit more of a wilder song that differs from the classic love lyrics that are in the majority of these songs, apart from that it's all thumbs up!
Overall album rating 9/10.
