You might think this is just another chick flick that you’ll give a miss but you’ve got to see it. The story is based on Ann Brashares' best-selling novel about 4 lifelong friends who all have their own problems over the summer, it’s the first summer they’ve spent apart and on their last shopping trip before their isolation from each other they all try on a pair of pants (jeans as we call them here in the UK) and miraculously they fit all of them perfectly!
As the summer goes on they all find that the pants give them good luck in everything they do, so much so they decide to use these pants as a way of keeping in touch over the months they are apart, each one wearing the jeans for a week to see what luck they bring them before sending them on to the next. It’s an amazing chick flick, one of the best I’ve seen! There’s so much that happens in the film but you’ll just have to go and see it!
Useless fact: When the soccer girls are running by the ocean, tire marks from the camera truck are visible in the sand.
