Shrek 3

Starring: Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, Antonio Banderas, Julie Andrews, John Cleese, Rupert Everett, Eric Idle and Justin Timberlake.

Directed by Chris Miller, produced by Jeffery Katzenberg for Dreamworks Animation and distributed by Paramount Pictures, Shrek returns in his third animated movie, Shrek the Third. It is a computer animated comedy film and is based fairy tale themes like Snow White and Cinderella.

Charming is seeking for revenge on Shrek and wants to be king of Far Far Away. Shrek seems happy just with his family, only Fiona. King Harold is ill so Shrek takes his place for a few days, but doesn't like it. Sadly, King Harold takes his last breaths and tells Shrek he is in line of the throne. Shrek totally disagrees but Harold tells him Arthur Pendragon is eligible for the throne. King Harold dies, and so Shrek searches for Arthur in Worcester with Donkey and Puss in Boots.

However, Charming gets together all the fairy tale villains and they take over Far Far Away, causing chaos and trapping Fiona and the princesses. Shrek finds bullied Arthur (Fiona's cousin) at Worcester Academy. They all then head back to Far Far Away, meeting Wizard Merlin. After arriving at Far Far Away, Shrek is then captured in the castle and is locked up.

It's up to Donkey, Puss in Boots, Fiona, Queen Lillian and the princesses to rescue Shrek , using their high fighting skills in the play where Charming is trying to show off by saving a princess and attempting to kill poor Shrek!

In my opinion, I didn't think that this film wasn't as good as Shrek or Shrek 2 at all. There was humour, but it wasn't as funny as the other 2 Shrek films. I think the producers and directors must have ran out of ideas. It is good for all families and I think that younger children will find this funny.
