When my parents first suggested I swap going up town with my mates with going to see Robots at the cinema, I've got to say I wasn't over excited. But having seen the flick, I am glad they took me!
Robots is an animation by the same folks who brought us Ice Age, so expect a funny story following the adventures of Rodney Copperbottom, a young robot from a poor family (voiced by Ewan McGregor, although it doesn't sound like him!). Rodney wants to help all the other unfortunate robots who cannot afford new parts which they need to survive. He meets the lovable Fender (Robin Williams, yay!) and together they take on the evil robots who hate the poor and try to turn them into scrap metal!
The film is full of surprises and awesome graphics, and if you're anything like me and loved Ice Age, you'll find it funny too. Well worth going to see (but maybe take your little brother as an excuse, though ;-)

...and a second opinion
The makers of Ice age make this film as a young robot (Rodney Copperbottem voiced by Ewan McGregor.) that tries to make is big in the world of inventions. Robot city is the place to be, while he is their he recognises big weld (like Simon Cowell in the world of invention) and tries to show him his invention in the process he makes Friends with Fender (voiced by Robin Williams), A Group known as the Rustie's and especially one 'Rustie' that has a soft spot for him (Cappy, voiced by Halle Berry). their are also some other friends in the lineup, but as well as friends he makes enemies (Ratchet, voiced by Greg Kinnear) Ratchets mother (voiced by Jim Broadbent). This film is a fun filled and action packed, all singing, all dancing movie, but I would only recommend it to small children and young families, or just to shut up your little brother/sister up! overall I would give this film 6/10 ,but if i were younger 9/10 or 10/10!
