Professor Layton And The Curious Village (DS)

Prof Layton

This game is full of puzzles. When you first get onto the game it tells you the story so it is very long and there is a lot of writing to read. Once you get into doing some of the challenges though, it gets more fun. I would recommend this to buy if you are into puzzle solving but I wouldn’t recommend it for people who are serious gamers. It appeals to most ages and you may have trouble taking the game off of your parents and relatives that may use bribery to play on it, Beware! You may also find that to solve some of the puzzles you may need someone else’s help.

The game is set out really great and you can get used to it easily even if you’re not a gaming person. The puzzles and mysteries are good, as they need a lot of thought. If you don’t get a puzzle you can use hint coins to give you hints. Don’t think you can get away with it easily if you think its just a few puzzles, there are more than 130 to keep you going.

I enjoyed this game for when I wanted to relax. I could sit in the corner and play on this, deep in the mysteries. I had some trouble with it, as some of the puzzles are extremely hard. I also had trouble trying to take it from my mum. When she disappeared I knew she was somewhere (possibly in hiding) on my DS. This shows it's great for any age
