The story of a man
A Woman
And the corpses of
A thousand evil men

That there, is taken from the insert of 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge'

'Revenge' is the follow up to My Chemical Romance's debut album 'I brought you my bullets, you brought me your love'.

So what makes this album stand out from the rest?

Perhaps it's the fact that the whole album is founded on the band's love of all things fantasy, and tells a tale worth of any horror tale. Maybe it's the way the band dress in a uniform style. It could be the fans not caring about any of this, just wanting more of the music they crave. Who knows? Each to their own.

This album certainly differs from the last. THe band now work seamlessly together, and this time around, are working on a sound that feels right to them.

From the punky riffs of "I'm not okay (I promise)" to the almost signiture sounds of "Thank you for the venom", these aren't sounds to be taken lightly, lest they come back and stick a boot into your face.

Emo? Punk? Pop-Rock? Call it what you will, the fans don't care as long as the music keeps coming. And just like Marmite, this is one band you either love, or hate.
