Kings Of Leon - Because of the Times CD Review

Kings of Leon are emerging into the music industry to give hopefully another album with a considerable wow factor. "Because of the Times" is perhaps their best yet and by far the most underrated.
The album takes a somewhat brave start with a 7 minute track. But don't be put off as it resembles the inner most passion we remember Kings of Leon for. The track starts off with a steady drumbeat, which then drags in the heavenly aurora of the guitar pitch harmonics, then the bassline falls to accompany Caleb's voice which pounds through the thick dynamics of the song. Then to a solid headbanger of a tune named Charmer, which begins with a dark, fiery bassline and an amazing ear piercing screech from the frontman emphasising each starting word to each line develops a classic rock out anthem.
The phenomonal basslines, the catchy, humorous lyrics, well written guitar parts and solos bind together to create an absolute mindblowing masterpiece fit for listening to again and again and never getting monotonous. Hopefully this will be a taste of hopeful things to come. Thanks for reading guys and rock on.
