Are you desperately in love with Oasis? Do you have at least one of their tracks in every playlist? But are you missing something new, something that doesn't wander too far from their style? If you answered 'Yes' to all of those, give Kartica's "Don't You Think So" a try, a track from the 5-piece band originating in Sheffield.
While listening to this stunningly cheerful track, all I could imagine was sitting at a beach someplace, on a summers evening, pals on my left and ice cold drinks on my right. This just has "Summer Sun Lovin" written all over it.

The one thing I love about this track is the piano. The piano is beautifully woven in with the rest of the instruments that it's not easily noticed until it's gone. The piano adds that extra bit of the flavour, the cherry on the cake, the sprinkling of parmesan cheese on top of your Spaghetti Bolognese.
Kartica are definitely a band to watch out for, especially after being picked up by NME after selling out the Sheffield O2 Academy.
So if you're still in love with and missing the 90's Britpop, tune in to Kartica on their website, myspace (Yes, people still use that site! Don't judge them) and facebook:
