It doesn’t matter what you think of Kanye, or what his reputation has brought him because he knows how to make music; so much so that ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted’ has been rumoured to go gold in the first week of it’s release.
When I started listening to the album I didn’t want to like it, but it just isn’t possible. Add together some rap, some of the biggest names on the scene today, a whirlwind lifestyle, drop some beats, and this is what you get.
Everything that Kanye could have possibly had said about him has been mentioned on this album, and he has something to say back to that. The album is laced with swearing and sex references, hence the parental advisory label; but he’s one of this generations biggest and most popular rappers and ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted’ has got to be his biggest masterpiece yet.
If you didn’t think Kanye’d interrupt you, well he’s already done it by creating this album.
