Have you ever paid nothing to watch a man sing about Captain Birdseye, msn messenger and illegitimate Japanese babies? I went to see Jay foreman in Edinburgh, at the "Free Fringe Festival", the man on you tube everyone is talking about! He wrote that “chavs on the moon song”.

Jay Foreman is from north London and is a student at the University of York. In his spare time he writes and records silly songs. In February 2005, he needed money for a hitch-hiking trip to Morocco, so he made a CD of his songs and people started to call it an “album” 100 were sold during his first month. In August 2007 he did a show “20 songs for free” which is when I saw him, the BBC came to see it and liked it so much they made a video of Jay Foreman performing and some information about his life

I saw him play 20 songs for free, it was really humorous and enjoyable to watch, I went twice because I enjoyed it so much, each time I still found the jokes in the songs funny as the first time. This guy is absolutely amazing! Some of my favourite songs he sung were, Imagine If I died, The Coolest Dream, Cookies, Captain Birdseye, Balloon, Stealing Food, Chained to a radiator, The Procrastinator and Spirograph. You can check out his myspace at www.myspace.com/jayforemanmusic or his website www.Jayforeman.co.uk

He saved the “Chavs on the moon song” till last which was really good because the audience got to join in. And what made it really good was, it was absolutely free!
