Good news the people who own a copy of Halo 3 ODST, as they got to beta test the new Halo Reach, which is the last Halo game in the series. So Halo Reach is due to be released on the Xbox 360 in November 2010, and has already become the 3rd most played game on Xbox Live.

At the start of the beta, players only got the oportunity to play two maps called Swordbase and Powerstation, and various game modes within them. After a week Bungie gave us another gamemode and map to play called Invasion, aka Spartans VS Elites. And the final map to be released this week is overlook, which is pretty much defend the generator/base. Now Bungie confirmed that theese maps were human picked because other maps can spoil the storyline on single player campaign mode.

In Halo Reach you gain the oportunity to use special abilities, there are still going to be more in the actual game, but in the beta we were only given four, these four were.

-Airborne - The ability to use a jetpack.

-Scout - The ability to run faster.

-Stalker - The ability to become invisible.

-Defense - Which if your on the lowest on health and your about to get killed, press your button before its too late, and protect yourself for an estimated time of 5 seconds.

These abilities do not last forever, they just need to recharge after 5-20 seconds of use. After each game you earn Credits, they are used to level up to another rank and to spend on armour and customization. Most players have tended to use a mixture of armoury. You get to decide on what emblem you have (Some reason mine is a kitten).

Its not just the owners of ODST who get to Beta test Halo Reach, some loyal players of Halo 2 got the oportunity and so did some Xbox Live Silver members.

I really recommend that you buy this game when it gets released in November 2010, in my own opinion it could become the best Xbox 360 Game. Halo reach is avalible to preoder in Normal, Limited and Legendary Edition (£40,£60, and £99)
