19 Year Old Singer/songwriter Taylor Swift has solidified her position as one of the most important artists to emerge on the popular music scene this decade. ‘Fearless’ has already reached double platinum status in the US just four weeks after its release and was the year’s biggest US debut for any female artist. ‘Fearless’ also held the #1 slot on the Billboard album chart for over 7 weeks, the highest amount of consecutive weeks for a female artist this decade! Taylor, who writes all of her own material and co-produced her album, is poised to replicate her US success over here with the release of her album ‘Fearless’, out now and her new UK single ‘Fifteen', out on August 24th.
‘Fearless’ is the album that will bridge gaps between musical genres. It is the perfect pop album with a very modern country twist. Her massive US hits including ‘Love Story’, ‘Our Song’, ‘Teardrops On My Guitar’ and ‘Should’ve Said No’ are all featured on the record.
Taylor released her self-titled debut album in 2006, which has been certified triple- platinum (with sales more than 3.5 Million in the US).
