Play Bloons Tower Defence Here!
Defending yourself is a serious business, when they fire arrows at you… get armour, when they send humvees towards you…get tanks, when they start attacking you with balloons… get monkeys.
Each level has a different twisting path that goes from one side of the level to the other. A number of different coloured balloons drift along the path and the aim of the game is to not let any of the balloons get to the end. You purchase and position weapons around the path in the shape of dart throwing monkeys, rockets and tack shooting robots and once placed they automatically fire on any balloons that come within range. The highlight of the weapons is the Super monkey which is well… super. Not all weapons do damage like Ice balls to freeze the oncoming balloons and monkey glue to slow the balloons down. All the weapons except tacks and monkey glue are upgradable by clicking on them and buying the upgrade. You’re awarded in-game currency by killing balloons and completing by destroying a whole wave of them.
Bloons tower defence is funny and doesn’t take things seriously – after each level a box of text will come up at the bottom containing a fun phrases like, “Monkey glue, I don’t know where we got these names either”. It has fun, cartoony graphics which are good, and suits the style of the game.
There are 50 levels to battle through, each getting progressively harder, but I think you’ll find that you will only play the game once for the giggles and then find it a bit boring and repetitive the second time round.
