What I have enjoyed most about reading “A Place Of Safety” Is that it is gripping and at the same time you want to stop but cannot as you need to know what happens next, I found myself enjoying every moment of reading this book as its full of surprises and includes a lot of emotional chapters.
This book is focused on 2 people in particular, “Lily” and “Anna”, first about how a young asylum seeker called Anna gets into trouble with some school boys that take advantage of her, then from that moment on she has done nothing else wrong except follow orders from her last hope of survival, Artan, but when all seems to be going downhill for Anna, it reaches a steep hill that is not getting any steadier, Artan soon winds himself and his trustworthy follower in a difficult position which quickly gets worsened by his target for revenge on the gang of school boys.
Then when all hope is lost for Anna, a lawyer called Lily Valentine is soon pulled in by the interesting events that are unfolding, and also by lies that have been said when only she and her handsome police officer have witnessed the true event that ends up in a spillage of blood.
Anna is constantly getting herself into more trouble and Lily is getting into more of a muddle with how her life is running, they are both making mistakes and having to make up for it, but surely when they hit rock bottom, the only way is up? Well.. You’ll have to read and find out!
