Alexx Calise – Outta Here Alive Single Review

Alexx Calise's new single 'Outta Here Alive' is as lyrically and musically brilliant as her previous album 'In Avanti'. Her voice still has the same polished rawness that is emotion charged and suits the soft-rock track she's created making for an easy listen that us still a joy to listen to.
With lyrics such as "Hey, tell me now what can I take" the song directly addressed the audience and draws you in to listen to the rest of the story in the song which the listener can easily relate to – they lyrics "what the hell does this all mean 'cause nothing's makin' any sense to me" being a brilliant example of this. She even dares to talk about the social faux pas of smoking in a completely casual manor and it perfectly slots in to the song.
As always tight riffs, quality singing and backing vocals which are wonderfully underscored by the drum and guitar work. Beautiful song to listen to. Can't wait for Alexx's up and coming album!
