Age of Empires 3 is Microsoft and Ensemble Studio's attempt to revive the Age of Empires series. I believe they have finally realised that people liked the utter simplicity of Age of Empires 1 and 2, and not the new and complicated Age of Mythology system. So they decided to revamp AoE with new 3D graphics, new battle physics and "unparallelled visual detail".
This latest instalment will take you into the heart of Native America and the Industrial Age allows you to utilise units with rifles, or ships with cannons.
