We still have money!

Due to remaining funds being available we are opening the Youth Capital Fund again for a second round. Bids are welcomed from young people’s projects across the county, aimed at young people aged 13-19 years. Applications are to be made by the young people themselves with the support of a worker or group supporter.

We have £55,000 in the pot, and it is hoped that this will fund a number of smaller projects. All grants must be spent by 31st March 2009, so projects must have a realistic timescale.

Only Capital funding is available, so there can be no opportunity fund element to bids. To clarify, capital funding can be used to help change and improve existing youth provision or to purchase equipment needed to run a project. You may not apply for running costs or staff pay.
