The internet and mobile technologies are transforming the way we live and learn. The opportunities for creativity and fun are endless but there are also very real risks for young people. Safer Internet Day is an annual event in February aimed at promoting internet safety throughout Europe. In Leicestershire we have an annual esafety survey for Year 9 students which helps us to keep up to date with how young people are using the internet and the nature of the risks they face.
